Every success starts with a challenge. These stories prove it.
  • The challenge
A bank trustee had recently run an analysis of a client’s funds and made a disturbing realization. The 45-year-old who suffered from schizophrenia, faced rising care facility costs, and had long stopped receiving Medicare benefits, was sure to run out of funds before the end of his life. What’s more, the quality of care he was receiving was seriously in question.
  • The success
We jumped in by working with Social Security to reinstate the client’s Medicare benefits and back-pay outstanding healthcare bills. We then made the recommendation that the client be moved to a more reputable care facility that would also provide him greater independence—and cost less. Today, we continue to manage the client’s budget to ensure a fiscally responsible use of funds over his lifetime.
